Tehran, March 14 (SENA) – As SENA reports, the subject of assigning the two football clubs of Perspolis and Esteghlal is being analyzed in the last few years in the Capital Market. Previously, Masoud Soltanifar, the minister of youth affairs and sport, had claimed the end of financial dependency and amendment of their financial system of these clubs only by offering them in the Capital Market and had stated: Controlling corruption, decrement of the expenses of dealerships, their financial independency and gaining an income are the least advantages of offering the stocks of Esteghlal and Perspolis F.C. in the Capital Market.

The History of Assignment Project

At first these two clubs were based on the bylaw of the government added to the assignment list in 2010, but these two clubs were brought out in August 2016 via a ratification.

In 2019, these two clubs were readded to the assignment list and Masoud Soltanifar, the minister of youth affairs and sport announced in the government economic commission the ratification of the suggestion of assigning these two clubs. Farhad Dejpasand, the minister of economy also asserted this assignment in the same year.

In the March and April of 2019, according to the conclusion of meetings between parliament agents, ministry of youth affairs and sport, bourse, etc. these clubs were not able to be offered in Fara bourse and their assignment relies on a major amendment in their financial statements and their financial system.

Steps of Offering in Iran Fara Bourse

Amir Hamouny, managing director of Iran Fara Bourse Company, asserting that the negotiations about these two clubs were only in words, cited: In the 3 previous years, there were no official application about offering their stocks of these two football clubs in Iran Fara bourse and this caused a lack of tracking to implement its necessary steps.

The managing director of Iran Fara Bourse Company, stating that because of the official request from these clubs, Iran Fara Bourse Company not only entered this subject, but also implemented the necessary tracking, noted: At first, the meetings were held pretty regularly with the minister of youth affairs and sport and the deputies, but maybe because of the negotiations, the decision was made not to offer them in Fara bourse.

The Recent News

Ismaeel Hossein Zahi, the secretary of sport fraction of the parliament, expressed: The assets of these two clubs were supposed to be priced; and after determining their current income and their debts, the assignment would be done. It was also shown that by implementing this project, the clubs would receive a significant benefit.

He stated about the reason of cancelling their assignment in the past: In that period, the assets that these two clubs had, were for the youth affairs and sport organization and after that the ministry of youth affairs and sport that by the pursuing, it is prepared to transfer their assets to themselves.

Hossein Zahi continued: Currently, that the assets of these clubs are numerous and in their financial balance, benefit is seen more than damage, the two football clubs of Perspolis and Esteghlal can enter bourse. The parliament is pursuing besides the ministry of youth affairs and sport to fix the difficulties and their problems to offer these two football clubs in bourse.
