The head of the Tax Affairs Organization, referring to the government's revenue of 13,000 billion tomans from the tax on transfer and transfer of shares, announced that the half percent tax will not be changed next year.

Tehran, January. 31 (SENA)-According to the Securities and  Exchange News Agency (Sena), Omid Ali Parsa said about the half percent tax on the transfer of shares next year: "This rate will not change next year; Because there has been no discussion in this regard so far, and if any action is taken, it will be to strengthen the stock market.

He added that the transferor of the shares must pay this type of tax because he earns income from this transfer. A cross-sectional tax of 4% of their nominal value will be collected from each exchange of shares and shares of the company and no other amount will be demanded.

Parsa continued: Registration offices or notaries must obtain the relevant tax payment certificate and attach it to the file when registering the changes or preparing the transfer document.

He added: The government has so far been able to earn over 13,000 billion tomans through taxes obtained from the capital market.
