Tehran, Dec.23(SENA) - Iran's minister of economy says that in 2019 despite the limitations U.S sanctions imposed on the national economy, the overall economic function was satisfactory such that the annual foreign trade balance hiked to 60 billion USD in total worth.

According to the Securities and Exchange News Agency report, Farhad Dezhpasand told the reporters that the hike in foreign trade balance clearly indicates the failure of U.S sanctions against Iran and also our undisputed national economic strength in blunting the affects of  U.S sanctions ,on doing business with Iran, has been well proven for all.

"As of November 2019, Iran has had 31.4 billion USD worth of exports to foreign markets while within the same period ,  the value of imported goods and services reached 31.1 billion USD , that means we have had 60 billion USD worth of positive foreign trade balance, a  satisfactory performance for Iran given the ongoing situations."SENA quoted Dezhpasand as saying.
