Tehran,Nov.26 (SENA) - Iran's Minister of Industry and Trade says that Iranian government is determined to ban the import of any foreign good or merchandise that can be manufactured locally as a measure to support national production and improve available job vacancies.

According to Securities and Exchange News Agency , Reza Rahmani asserted: For us , nationally manufactured goods always come first and we are determined to support national industry through banning unnecessary imports from foreign countries.

"According to the plans we have set forth in the government, within next two years 10 billion USD worth of imported goods ought to be manufactured locally  of which 500 million USD fall within electric and telecommunication parts' category. Automobile industry comes next with high priority in replacing  imported goods with locally manufactured ones ." SENA quoted Rahmani as saying.

He continued: The point is an upheaval has commenced and wont stop  to cut off dependency on foreign imports and empower national industries even more than before.
