Tehran, July. 08 (SENA) - In a new development at Iran Mercantile Exchange, trades of cumin futures contracts have been started as of today 07/08/2019.

According to Securities and Exchange News Agency report, the futures contracts for genuine Iranian cum will be due on late September and the size of each contract is set to be 100 Kilograms.

In order to encourage the trade of new products, IME will charge no fees for cumin trades all of which will take place from today on.

Elimination of middlemen in cumin market and proving both farmers and consumers with fairer price has been declared as the main incentives for cumin offerings at IME. A tendency that according to IME officials is going to  go on and cover more agricultural products in the months to come .
